Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was shocked when he found out he was older than Utah Jazz head coach Will Hardy.
Los Angeles Lakers icon LeBron James just got a massive reality check this week. He recently discovered that he is actually older than second-year Utah Jazz head coach Will Hardy.

“Who am I bigger than?” LeBron James said.
“I’m better than… Oh, wow. Oh, my gosh. I don’t even mind. Yeah, that’s a good thing. You made me understand that. You made me understand that. It’s crazy ,” James said.
To put things into perspective, LeBron James is entering his 21st NBA season. In five weeks, he will turn 39.
Will Hardy, on the other hand, is in his second year as head coach of the Utah Jazz. He is 37 months younger than the Lakers superstar.
LeBron James entered professional basketball as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2003-04 season. Will Hardy was a high school sophomore in Richmond, Virginia.
In 2015, at the age of 27, Hardy became an assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs. A few months later, 31-year-old LeBron James led the Cavaliers to their first NBA championship.
James has no reason to feel old. This season he averaged 26.4 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game for the Lakers.
King James scored 17 points in a 131-99 victory over Will Hardy’s Jazz in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The purple and gold improved to 9-6 on the season. The struggling Jazz lost for the 10th time in 14 games.
Despite playing just 24 minutes on Tuesday, LeBron James was reminiscent of the great Lakers teams of the 1980s. He achieved a magnificent milestone in the process – James became the only NBA player to score 39,000 points in his career.
Lakers’ LeBron James shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, we’d venture to say he’ll get better with age.
