LeBron James has taken a step back over the past few weeks, and the Los Angeles Lakers enter training camp and preseason in a better mood than they have in years past.
Los Angeles’ roster appears to have depth in every major area. Even just watching these preseason games, it’s clear that there’s still plenty of potential and skill on the field in the fourth quarter when all the rookies are done.
James revealed during Lakers media day that one of the biggest reasons he chose to return for 21 years instead of retiring was the inspiration he received from his children. His oldest son, Bronny James, is currently in the recovery process and will play his freshman year for the USC Trojans.
However, Bryce James also worked his way up the basketball ladder, electing to transfer from Sierra Canyon High School and, after some uncertainty about where to go next, declare to attend Notre Dame High School.
Bryce is only 16 years old and preparing for his senior season. This is around the time players of the same age group start attending training camps and even early workouts attended by NBA and college scouts.
He recently made his debut at Notre Dame and showed off a versatile skill set, including a smooth shot at the rim and smart ball-handling.
See for yourself!
Rumor has it that Bryce has grown to 6 feet 6 inches and will continue to stretch. He still has two years of high school basketball to develop, and we’ll likely see him take a huge leap soon!
