Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James likes to go all out when it comes to Halloween costumes. Today, he and wife Savannah unveiled their latest spooky costume, and it’s spectacular.
This year, the Lakers star dressed up as Beetlejuice, while Savannah wore a costume from the movie as “Miss Argentina,” or in this case, “Miss Akron Ohio 2023.”
Tim Burton’s 1988 film tells the story of a recently deceased couple who contact nasty and cunning “creatures from the underworld” when ghosts haunt their former home. Exorcist” Beetlejuice (played by Michael Keaton) to scare away the home’s new residents. Miss Argentina (aka Receptionist, Miss Receptionist) appears at the window of the Netherworld’s waiting room.
The film also stars Winona Ryder and Alec Baldwin.
In recent years, the film has been adapted into a popular Broadway musical, which has toured the United States since December with great success. The musical will also tour Brazil, Sweden and Australia over the next 18 months.
It’s no secret that the Lakers star loves Halloween so much that he doesn’t just limit his celebrations to elaborate costumes. Last year, James took to social media to share the elaborate decorations he put into his home.The decorations include a giant Pennywise figure in the driveway, an Annabelle doll, and halloween Movie series.
Given LeBron’s love of the holidays and the fact that the Lakers aren’t playing on Halloween night, the only question to ask is: Will the James family hand out king-sized candy to trick-or-treaters?
