Latto releases “Issa Party” – The Music Universe

Grammy-nominated Atlanta rapper Latto has teamed up with fellow ATL rapper and PDE Records signee BabyDrill, releasing “Issa Party,” now via RCA Records. In this colorful and funny video, directed by Shak Gonzo and James Rico, Latto and Drill compete in ATL with their friends, Latto’s sister Brooklyn Nicole and even her dog Coca. The visuals are bright and playful, with dancing and balloons, and you can even spot Latto’s collaboration with Wingstop Meal. To celebrate this release, Latto is throwing an ATL party at the iconic Magic City strip club, renamed Latto City for this week’s release.

The release follows her hits “Put It On Da Floor” and the RIAA certified gold remix of “Put It On Da Floor Again” featuring Cardi B. The Go-produced “Put It On Da Floor” debuted during Coachella weekend in this year. Grizzly (Future), Squat & Pooh Beatz (Jack Harlow) have amassed millions of streams worldwide across all platforms, as well as being featured on several playlists. The track debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Trending Songs chart, cracked the top 20 on the TikTok Hot 50 US Chart, and earned collaborations with artists including Lil Nas X, Yung Miami, Lizzo, Coco Jones, Meek Mill and more. The remix debuted at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 1 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. Its explosive visual featured Latto and Cardi B teaming up in ATL, and also featured cameos from Offset, BabyDrill, Angel Reese and more.

Latto ended last year with a sweep of the lottery – she received two 2023 Grammy nominations in the Best New Artist and Melodic Rap Performance categories for “Big Energy (Live),” and also won awards in the Best New Artist category. at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards and BET Awards. The three-time 2022 AMA nominee and four-time 2022 VMA nominee were featured at both respective awards ceremonies and were announced as recipients of the Breakthrough Artist Award in the 2022 Variety Hit Makers category. Latto was also awarded the Powerhouse Award at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music Awards. Latto has just completed a summer festival run in Europe that included Wireless Festival in London, Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Rolling Loud in Germany and more. She also attended Milan Fashion Week where she attended various shows including Robert Cavalli, Etro, Blumarine, Diesel and GCDS.
