Lakers star LeBron James had a few words to say to USC basketball’s Bronny James before the Kansas State basketball game.
Bronny James’ men’s basketball career got off to a rocky start. He was injured during an offseason workout with the USC basketball program, causing him to miss the team. Andy Enfield and members of the Trojans organization remain optimistic about his return. “He’s on the right path,” those were the words of LeBron James before Bronny James’ team took on the challenge of a tough Kansas State basketball program.
Andy Enfield and USC basketball chose not to play the young star in this game. There’s also no clear timetable for his return, which may upset some fans. However, assurances from the Lakers star may put a lot of those discussions to rest. LeBron has seen injuries heal and disappear throughout his career because he’s been there too. Playing USC basketball will definitely be a big part of his recovery.
It’s worth noting that Brownie had just completed a very successful heart surgery. It’s unclear how this affected his congenital heart disease. Nonetheless, he was soon allowed to participate in basketball activities. USC Basketball and his immediate family may just be erring on the side of caution because the injury involves a very important organ.
