ESPN’s lead NBA commentators, Mike Breen and Doris Burke, tried to have a little fun in a preseason game they were covering as they prepared to pause play. In a game similar to the 2-Ball Challenge, a player must shoot in each designated area from the paint to three-point range.
In this game, the player only made one three-pointer and scored 10 points. Breen has been amazed by the young Los Angeles Lakers fan’s accuracy in every area, telling Burke:
“I wanted to yell ‘Bang!'”

However, there was not much time left for the boy. Brin simply said:
“Come on, man!”
At the critical moment, the player hit the top of the key three-pointer, and Brin shouted his iconic line:
“boom!”
LeBron James and Anthony Davis were delighted, raising their hands after a buzzer-beater from deep. Mike Breen continued:
“We have to find out his name now.”
Mike Breen and Doris Burke call Warriors vs. Warriors.lakers
Mike Breen and Doris Burke provide coverage of the Golden State Warriors-Los Angeles Lakers game on ESPN.
Because this is a nationally televised game, LeBron James and Anthony Davis have to play, even if it’s for a limited time in the preseason. James played 17 and a half minutes in the first half and scored 12 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists.
He sat out the second half but met his son Bronny at halftime.
On the other hand, Davis played 22 minutes and scored 13 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal. However, the Lakers lost to the Warriors 129-125 at home.
