LeBron James It certainly doesn’t have writer’s block — the Los Angeles Lakers superstar just announced that he has another children’s book coming out… called “I’m More Than Just.”
The four-time NBA champion partnered with Harper Collins Publishers on the project… aimed at inspiring young readers to understand that they are more than “a label, trait or interest.”
“‘I’m Beyond’ is about believing in yourself and all the amazing things you’re capable of doing that no one else can define you for,” James said in a statement.
“I hope everyone who reads this will be inspired to ‘go above and beyond’ in everything they do.”
James is no stranger to the literary game—his first children’s book, I Promise, became a New York Times bestseller.
“It’s incredible to see students, teachers and families react to My Promise and its message of encouragement,” the 38-year-old said.
“With this next book, we hope to continue inspiring kids everywhere to keep dreaming and not let anything hold them back.”
The book, set to hit shelves on April 2, features illustrations from Nina Mata.
The future Hall of Famer also collaborated with journalists and authors on a middle-grade book this year called We Are Family Andrea Williams.
One more and he’ll have as many books as he has ringtones!
