LeBron James arrives at Lakers opening night wearing Louis Vuitton – Robb Report

The 2023-24 NBA tunnel uniforms are already off to a stylish start.

LeBron James celebrated the Los Angeles Lakers’ first game of the season in stylish Louis Vuitton ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Denver Nuggets. If this is the basketball superstar who rocked Opening Night, we can’t wait to see what’s in store soon.

The four-time NBA champion entered the court wearing a camouflage jacket, black pants and Derby sneakers. Not to be missed, his accessories include colorful green Speedy Bandouliere 40 and a briefcase. The entire look is from Pharrell Williams’ first collection as LV’s menswear creative director, and it makes sense that the athlete announced himself as the French brand’s new face on Instagram after completing the walkthrough.

In a post shared with Williams, King James gave a shout-out to Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2024 men’s collection with a photo of him strutting in the Ball Arena tunnel. The post included a photo of the NBA’s first active billionaire holding up a newspaper ad, wearing a Louis Vuitton suit and carrying a giant red monogrammed tote. Its placement and James’ position mark the first official announcement of the brand’s partnership with athletes.

James is no stranger to collaboration. The 19-time NBA All-Star is best known for his footwear releases with Nike; the two have collaborated on 20 signature basketball shoes since he signed an $87 million deal with the company in May 2003. Over the years, he has starred in Rimowa and Beats by Dre advertising campaigns and opened the Unknwn retailer in Miami, and this new collaboration with LV is one of its largest partnerships in luxury fashion.

The NBA Tunnel Show is one of menswear’s most influential shows, with stars like Kevin Love and Russell Westbrook showing off their versatility before taking the floor. Basketball fashion might just get a little more interesting this season with the latest collaboration from King James.
