LeBron James can’t wait to see Jeremiah Smith follow in Marvin Harrison Jr.’s footsteps after he joins Ryan Day’s Ohio State football team.

Coach Ryan Day has a knack for attracting the top prospects in the country year after year. Being able to coach young talent within the Ohio State football program doesn’t seem challenging enough for him. After training Kyle McCord and Marvin Harrison Jr., he already has a new superstar, and his name is Jeremiah Smith.Even LeBron James can’t wait for this talented player to arrive Young stars out with Buckeyes.

That means Ryan Day will have a new wide receiver after Marvin Harrison Jr. leaves his system. The 2024 prospect might even be better than the star before him. Smith is currently rated as the best player in the state of Florida and the best wide receiver in the country. Simply put, he is the best overall player in the 2024 class.

Ohio State’s football program will benefit greatly from its commitment to the team. Smith had 58 receptions for 1,073 yards during the 2022 season. His outstanding end zone shooting ability brought him 20 receiving touchdowns. All of which are difficult to surpass by any other young player in the country. Some college students can only dream of posting the same numbers in their high school careers.

Smith also had offers from other schools like Florida State, the University of South Florida and even his hometown Florida Gators. But Day and the Ohio State football program are where he belongs.
