LeBron James has upbeat message for Bronny as USC starts season vs. LSU, Kansas

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has a message of confidence for his son Bronny as the USC men’s basketball team opens its season on Monday night against Kansas State.

However, it is reported that young James will not participate in the team’s first game of the season.

The Lakers, James Sr.’s team, also have a game on Monday. They will face Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat on the road.

On Nov. 4, the 38-year-old James put on a stellar all-around performance against Paulo Banchero, Franz Wagner and the Orlando Magic. He made 8 shots and finished with 24 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. The field goal percentage was -15, and he was 2 of 5 from beyond the three-point line.

Even though James Sr. had a big fight, the Lakers still lost to the Magic. In the end, the Magic defeated Los Angeles 120-101.

Banchero and Wagner both performed well in the win. The former scored 25 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds, while the latter scored 26 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists.

So far this season, the performance of Banchero and Wagner is an important reason for the Magic’s 4-2 record. The Magic are currently tied for third in the Eastern Conference with the Atlanta Hawks.

Although James Sr. played against Orlando on November 4, it wasn’t his best game of the season. Arguably, his best game came on November 1st against Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers.

James Sr. scored a season-high 35 points in the team’s overtime victory over the Clippers. In addition, he made 13 of 19 shots and contributed 12 rebounds and 7 assists.

It’s unclear when young James will be able to take the court for the Trojans, but Lakers fans should hope for him sooner rather than later.

After taking on the Wildcats, the Trojans will face the Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners on Nov. 9.
