LeBron James shouts out 49ers’ Christian McCaffrey for dominating Cardinals

Christian McCaffrey has many fans, but one of them is now NBA star LeBron James (if he doesn’t already).

The San Francisco 49ers are making sure the visiting Arizona Cardinals don’t defeat back-to-back Super Bowl hopefuls, especially after the Redbirds’ shocking win over the Dallas Cowboys last week.

A big reason why the Niners dominated the game? All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey.

One of the things San Francisco did during its Week 4 home game against the visiting Cardinals was to feature the ground game, and McCaffrey did more than just answer the call.

Amid cheers of “MVP! MVP! MVP” at Levi’s Stadium, McCaffrey completed 3 touchdowns, 2 on the ground and 1 in the air, helping the 49ers lead 21-3 in the first half. lead. McCaffrey’s first touchdown ultimately broke the franchise record previously held by Hall of Famer Jerry Rice for one of the most touchdowns scored in a game.

Rice holds the record with 12. McCaffrey now holds that record with 13 (and counting).

There will likely be a lot of talk about Offensive Player of the Month, and after such a strong performance earlier Sunday, it looks like he’ll earn the honor again in October. Before halftime, McCaffrey had rushed for 53 yards on 10 carries and two touchdowns, with four catches for 40 yards and an impressive touchdown reception.

Los Angeles Lakers NBA star LeBron James is one of those already sparking discussion.

Niners too Thanks James for the shout out to McCaffreyalso.

This is a classic case of game understanding game, greatness is understanding greatness.

James’ Hall of Fame honors easily peg McCaffrey as a Hall of Fame-caliber star, and the San Francisco running back has done just that in just one game.

Oh, and the 49ers continue to dominate Arizona, too.
