Bronny James Returning to court!
A spokesperson for the James family confirmed in a statement to the Economic Times, LeBron James“My 19-year-old son has been cleared by the doctor to play. Four months after cardiac arrest.
“Bronny James has now been cleared by his doctor to fully return to the basketball court,” the statement read. “Bronny will undergo a final evaluation with USC staff this week, return to practice next week, and return to basketball soon. Return to the game.”
The statement also read: “The James family would like to express their gratitude to the outstanding medical team, the entire USC community, and especially the countless friends, family and fans for their love and support. Keep fighting!”
The Trojans will face Gonzaga on Saturday in Las Vegas. The basketball team will face Long Beach State on Dec. 10 before traveling to Auburn on Dec. 17. There is no word yet on which game Bronny will return.
On July 24, Browne suffered a cardiac arrest during preseason training. He collapsed during training, prompting him to go to hospital and undergo further tests, congenital heart defects exposed.

“Bronny’s doing really well,” LeBron said at Lakers media day. “He has started the rehab process and will be back on the field this season with his teammates at USC. He’s getting better and better after the successful surgery. It’s been an absolute whirlwind and an emotional one for us as a family this summer. . But the best thing we have is each other and we support each other and give each other strength throughout this process. We’re excited to see where he is today and we look forward to seeing what the future has in store for him.”
The Los Angeles Lakers star said he will dedicate this season to his son.
“Nothing else matters except my family,” LeBron said. “Obviously, I’m going to dedicate this season to Brownie because with what happened this summer, I understand that just putting everything into perspective, no matter what’s going on in your life at that time, the only thing that matters is your family . Look what he’s been through the last few months, it’s been a lot… If he walked in the door right now, you wouldn’t even know he has everything he has because of how good he is and he’s moving.”
