LeBron James shares his honest thoughts on Lakers’ 2023-24 roster amid Los Angeles’ latest win streak

“We don’t know what we have right now, we’re not complete yet,” James said after Tuesday’s win, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin. “We’re not complete yet, not once this season. … So we don’t know exactly what we have.”
So far in the 2023-24 season, the Lakers have addressed some injury issues. LeBron believes the roster will be very good when fully healthy.
Los Angeles has found momentum in recent action. Still, their last three wins haven’t been against the best teams in the league. However, the Lakers will be challenged on Wednesday against the talented Dallas Mavericks.

LeBron, 38, is playing well. He averaged 25.7 points, 8.1 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game. The Lakers need LeBron on the court.
Los Angeles has done a good job of building depth around LeBron James and Anthony Davis. After the Lakers’ flurry of offseason moves, LeBron’s roster optimism is understandable. This is a team ready for a deep playoff run.
As long as injuries don’t have much of an impact moving forward, the Lakers will be a contender in the Western Conference.
