LeBron James wants to record podcast with Taylor Swift’s boyfriend

No, this is not a joke about Austin Reeves.

Lakers star LeBron James is looking to expand his audience into new markets: Swift NFL fans. In a tweet, James told Travis and his co-host and brother Jason that he was a big fan of their “New Heights.” Podcast and would love to join in at some point.

The post marks James’ latest venture into the NFL world, after he correctly picked 11 of the 13 games he predicted on Instagram Live over the weekend. Is this 13 a nod to Swift’s favorite number? I choose to believe it is.

Perhaps more notably, #DraftKing does include Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs beating the New York Jets on Sunday Night Football, and Jason’s Eagles beating the Washington Commanders earlier in the day. Now, this is how you flatter someone with a “great” podcast that makes you want to keep watching his podcast.

As we’ve learned over the past few weeks, Travis Kelce isn’t going to pass up the chance to let someone’s angry, global fan base drive podcast downloads. So it’s no surprise that he responded later in the day saying he was “honored” to have James play:

From sharing stories about playing high school football in Ohio to discussing James and Travis’ rumored girlfriends, the banners hanging in the former Staples Center arena combined have been (2) more times than the Clippers have reached the Western Conference Finals ( 1) Much more, Brother James Kelce should have plenty to discuss.

We know that when this podcast eventually fades away, we’ll keep listening.
