Lionel Messi buys $10 million mansion in Miami

Lionel Messi has been living in Miami for two months and is feeling increasingly comfortable in the city. Now we know that after weeks of searching, he and his family selected a mansion that fit his needs and bought it for $10.8 million.

The property is located in Broward County, just 16 minutes from the facilities of Inter Miami, the team for which the Argentinian is a star player. The Real Deal website claims facilities include 3,200 square meters, two 51-metre docks, a sea-facing swimming pool, a three-car garage, gym, spa and Italian-designed kitchen.

Specifically, the suite of the striker and his wife Antonella Roccuzzo has an area of 500 square meters. The images that have been circulated on social networks are shocking and show neatness related to paintings and other details.

The mansion was reportedly built in 1988 and remodeled in 2000 to modernize it. Its previous owners bought it for $9 million, which meant they made just over $1 million when they sold it to Leo.

With this new house, Messi continues to add properties to his name, scattered around the world. Some of them are in his hometown of Rosario in Argentina, Barcelona, an apartment in the Porsche Design Tower in Miami and a mansion in Ibiza where he spent many summers playing football in Spain.

After news broke that the Qatar 2022 World Cup winner would move to the United States, he revealed to the media: “I’m just here to play football and continue to enjoy football, which is what I’ve loved my whole life and that’s the most important thing for me to choose this place.”

Finally he promised: “Today I can say that I am very happy with the decision we have made, not only for sport, but also for my family and for the way we live our lives every day.”
