When, after the beating, the shell breaks and the substance enters the blood, Lucy turns out to be a completely different person.

He acquires extraordinary physical and mental abilities: extrasensory perception, insensitivity to pain, photographic memory, accelerated learning, telepathy and telekinesis. That is, he manages to use all the capabilities of his brain, and not just 10 percent, like the rest of humanity. Hunted by Jang’s men but determined to do good, Lucy discovers that the only one who can help her is Professor Samuel Norman (Morgan Freeman), professor of biology at the University of Paris.

If it’s true that Luc Besson’s first girlfriend was his ex-wife Milla Jovovich (who gave up because she was pregnant), the director admitted that as soon as he met Scarlett Jonasson and saw how much she liked the script, he offered her the role.
