Michael Jordan vs. The NBA GOAT debate over LeBron James has been discussed over the years. Ever since LeBron started winning championships, people have been comparing him to Jordan. LeBron is clearly still playing and continues to defend himself.
Current players sometimes hesitate to answer this question because James is still an active player. There are others who are more than willing to share their thoughts on the debate. Luka Doncic may not have answered the question with glee since LeBron is also in the Western Conference, but he still chose Jordan.
Mavericks: Luka Doncic heading into 2023-24 season
Doncic is currently preparing for the 2023-24 season. The Mavericks struggled last year despite acquiring Kyrie Irving before the trade deadline. Doncic believes Dallas will turn things around this season.
However, competing in the Western Conference will be difficult. LeBron James and the Lakers continue to improve. Teams like the Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns are also expected to be legitimate contenders.
That said, the Mavericks have enough talent to shock the league, led by Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Dallas is expected to be one of the most exciting teams in the 2023-24 season.
