The fever for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in the entertainment world does not stop and more artists continue to join a growing market.
Colombian singer Maluma ad, on August 27, the launch of some collectibles called “Papi Edition” in the Ethernity platform based on the Ethereum blockchain.
In total, Maluma released a series of five non-fungible tokens, developed and designed by the Colombian graphic artist Alejandro Robledo Mejía, known as RMA, who has worked with the singer on previous occasions.

From the “Maluma: Parallel Universe” collection there were 100 pieces and 36 remain, from the “Maluma: Papi Sand Time” series there are 5 of 20 available.
While “Maluma Papi Life” is a unique piece in which the singer himself participated in its realization and is valued at 311,110 ETH which represents USD 1,009,881 at the current market price, according to the CriptoNoticias price index.
Many of the tokens have already been put up for resale by their initial buyers.
Maluma expressed in a video posted on their social networks to promote the collection, that the launch “marks a new beginning in artistic expression” of his career.
“This will be the first release in my series of portraits designed and created together with RMA to help me communicate and share more of myself with my fans, who have given me so much,” said Juan Luis Londoño, Maluma’s first name.
He also indicated that “each portrait has hours and hours of development but years of creation. This collection contains a decade of hard work, emotions and feelings.
The artist behind the work
Robledo Mejía was also the creative mind behind the stage graphics, effects and animations. of Maluma’s last tours, including the tour that he currently presents called “Papi Juancho Maluma World Tour”.
The digital artist has expressed on other occasions that working with Maluma is, for him, “a unique experience” because it allowed him to “go beyond the limits” and thus be able to “transport his fans to a world they had never experienced before.”

More urban music artists win with NFTs
