But apart from insinuations about age, being the son of Gianni Morandi was not easy in some respects. “Having a surname like Morandi was not an advantage. I had to make a personal journey. It probably happens to everyone in my condition, because constant confrontation is inevitable. there is a constant bias. It happened to me too when I met the artist’s son: I learned a lot there, it was useful.
Who knows if Marco Morandi would have done better with a different last name. “Maybe I would have had more space, but I have no proof” he retorted.
