Marcus, with Larsa Pippen, Hopefully his dad will play a big role in his wedding.
According to Page Six , Marcus, 32, joined the “Pablo Torre Finds Out” podcast on Tuesday (October 31) and revealed that he wants him to be his best man. say what? !
For him, his reason is loyalty to family rules that cannot be broken.
“I was the best man at (Michael’s) wedding and I was the best man at my brother’s wedding, so obviously, we’re going to keep that tradition going,” Marcus explained in the episode.
In July, when Michael was asked if Marcus was okay with dating Larsa, he said one word: “No.”
The former basketball player’s teammates are Scottie Pippen He was once married to Larsa. The two were the dynamic duo of the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s and together won six championships for the team.
However, their relationship began to wane in April 2020, when Michael released his documentary series The Last Dance on Netflix, and Scottie wasn’t happy with how he was portrayed. He also said the series was not “accurate” enough, according to People magazine.
Then, in November 2021, Scotti fired back with his memoir, Undefended, in which he blasted Michael and his docuseries.
While there still seems to be bad blood between Michael and Scotty, Marcus and Larsa are still going strong.
In August, Marcus revealed to TMZ that they were looking for a place to get married.
Although Marcus is tight-lipped about the exact wedding date, he said it’s “in the works.”
Fans may be able to see their big day on “The Real Housewives of Miami,” Page Six reports.
“All the producers are asking, ‘When is the wedding? Are we going to shoot it on TV?'” he told the outlet. “So we’re considering whether it will air.”
If Marcus gets his way, he hopes to have “multiple weddings,” including a “private wedding for (their) family and friends” and “a slightly more public wedding.”
