Marvel releases trailer for Disney+’s MPower documentary series

THE Marvel Studios highlight women with the new trailer for MPower, a four-part documentary series about Disney+.

In this series, the evolution of female heroes is explained by the people who helped bring them to life. The characters on which the first group focuses are the women of Wakanda, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch And Gamora Of Guardians of the Galaxy. Given how much love there is for each of these characters, there is something for all fans to enjoy when it comes to the individual entries. In fact, the actors who play many of these heroes have sat down and given their thoughts on what makes them so compelling.

“MPower is a tribute to women’s empowerment and empowerment,” she said Zoe Saldana at Marvel.com. “We are thrilled to have the involvement of a diverse group of women whose voices and stories will serve as inspiration. Our hope is that this series ignites meaningful conversations and drives real change towards a more equal and inclusive world.”

“Every hero has an epic origin story and so does this series,” executive producer Justin W. Hochberg adds. “When I conceived MPower, I did it out of love for my teenage daughter, so that she would have more icons to look up to, voices to learn from, and role models to help her impact the world. Today that vision has become reality thanks to Brie Larson, Elizabeth OlsenWakandan women and Zoë Saldanawhose leadership has been “Mpowering””.

MPower episode synopses for all 4 installments

MPOWER-Women’s BLACK PANTHER – “Travel again to Wakanda, where women are the backbone of the most powerful nation in the world. Okoye (Danai Gurira) Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) Ayo (Florence Kasumba) e Shuri (Letitia Wright) are as indestructible as vibranium, and this episode of MPower delves into their roots in the original comics, how performances have been influenced by the actors’ experiences, and how the spirit of Africa and the Black excellence shaped every aspect of the films.”

MPOWER-CAPTAIN MARVEL – “Journey with one of the most powerful superheroes in the MCU, Captain Marvel (Brie Larson). Seen through the eyes of those who helped bring it to life. Through never-before-seen animation and cutscenes, viewers will get a new sense of transformation from Carol Danvers to Captain Marvelof the women who look at her, Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) e Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), and how the teams behind and in front of the camera helped bring it all together.”

MPOWER-SCARLET WITCH – “Celebrate Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) e Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings). Plus the creative forces behind the Scarlet Witch’s iconic journey. The heroine of undeniable power and tragic story behind her has withstood insurmountable obstacles dating back to her childhood in Sokovia, her years as an Avenger and, of course, her rise to the making of herself as the Scarlet Witch ”.

MPOWER-GAMORA – “Explore the evolution of the charming character of Gamora (Zoë Saldaña), from her days as an assassin to life among the Guardians of the Galaxy. As the backbone of the team of misfits, Gamora is forced to reevaluate what family means to her and deal with her dysfunctional relationship with her sister. Nebula (Karen Gillan). Veterans of the Guardians movies comment on Gamora’s plight and how she’s brought to life in an emotional and dynamic way.”
