Is Marvel Studios better than Game of Thrones? Emilia Clarke, the actress who played Daenerys Targaryen on the hit HBO series, has been clear that Marvel has the edge. During an interview with Yahoo’s Kevin Polovi during the Secret Invasion press tour, Clark explained why he considers the Marvel Cinematic Universe (UCM) the best franchise he’s had the pleasure of being involved in to date.
“Oh my god… the MCU is the best in the world!” Clarke exclaimed enthusiastically. “He has a well deserved reputation and lives on his own level, separate from everything else. It’s not just a superhero franchise, it’s an MCU. It’s something completely different.”
“There’s a lightness and peace of mind that I think comes from the fact that they’re the best and maybe they know what they are by having all the stuff they have at their disposal,” continued Emilia Clarke in regards to Marvel Studios. “And then there is the cast, which is just incredible. Game of Thrones was a unique experience for me because most of the time we didn’t know what we were doing. Then it became something more, and we went on this journey to the end. Here he has just joined the train and everyone is doing what they have to do.”
“Honestly, I really like Marvel Studios,” admitted Emilia Clarke, summing up her pleasant experience on the set of “Secret Invasion”. The TV series is already available on Disney+ to the general public, despite controversy over the presence of artificial intelligence.
“They are absolutely brilliant. All the people I know and talk to are part of UCM. Even the actors talked about it! Everyone can offer the studio only the highest rating.”
