Mattel announces the sale of a model inspired by the character Kate McKinnon.

In Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie, actress Kate McKinnon plays a special version of the famous doll, and Mattel decided to create this model.

To the cinema Barbie a specific version of the famous doll appears and the character plays Kate McKinnon. After a long wait, Mattel has announced that fans will be able to purchase a print signed by Javier Meabe, even if, according to the official website, we have to wait until May 31, 2024.

The “weird” Barbie, who is entrusted to Kate McKinnon, who lives in Barbieland and helps the main character, played by Margot Robbie, go to the real world and, subsequently, find a solution to the problems of her dimension, will now become a real Mattel doll.
On the site Mattel Creations you can actually preorder Weird Barbie at a price of 56 euros.
The doll has clothes that perfectly recreate the film’s heroine’s outfit and appearance, with a haircut and facial markings left by those who played with her in a not-so-respectful way for a long time.
