Celebrity wedding designer Vera Wang, at 74, is constantly praised for her eternally youthful appearance. So much so that fans even mistake her 30-year-old daughters for her sisters.

In a recent post celebrating her daughter Josephine Becker’s 30th birthday on September 19, netizens flooded the comments section with remarks about how they look like “twins” and have “amazing genes.” Wang has two adopted children, Cecilia and Josephine Becker, whom she calls Chesi and Joe, from her marriage to property developer Arthur Becker.

According to The List, Cecilia was born in 1990 and Josephine in 1993.

At the time, Wang was married to Arthur Becker. The couple separated amicably in 2012, but Wang remained very close to her daughters. The four have also been photographed together as a family in recent years.

The List reports that the girls grew up in an apartment across the street from their mother’s Manhattan home. Wang also had homes in Paris and California, and the wedding guru told Harper’s Bazaar that she wouldn’t be leaving the Big Apple and that Kali was “the yin to (her) New York yang.”

According to Cecilia’s Teen Vogue interview, she never took it for granted.

“When I was three, my mom made a wedding dress for my Halloween costume—I didn’t take it off for days,” she said. “I knew there was something special in my family when my sister and I modeled in her shows as kids.”

They are very reserved, but sometimes attend events.

CeCe and Joe are undoubtedly Van’s biggest fans, and although they keep a relatively low profile, they show their support for their mom by attending high-profile events from time to time.

Because the youngest of Posh and Becks, Harper Beckham, is a style maven.

In a rare outing this March, the girls joined their iconic mom for a visit to the White House, where she was honored by President Joe Biden, according to She Knows.

That doesn’t seem to be the case, but either way, Wang wants her daughters to choose their path based on their passions. “Even though most people look to my mom for her great style, I respect her great advice. She advises me to study hard in school and maintain freedom of choice so that I can find my passion in life. So next time your mom annoys you, cut her some slack,” Cecilia told Seventeen magazine back in 2007.

According to Cecilia’s Instagram bio, she runs an interior design business, although she hasn’t posted anything on her page in the last year. Over the years, Josephine remained much more quiet, but in 2016 it was revealed that she is definitely smart, considering that she studied at Harvard University.
