Megan Fox has expressed a desire to become a part of some comic book universe – Marvel or DC. In an interview with the Washington Post, she said that she is a big fan of comics and that she is ready for “difficult” and “fun” roles, but non-standard for herself.
I want to grow as an actress. I think I spent many years not doing this because I kind of pulled myself away from Hollywood. Now I am ready to grow and improve myself – the actress shared.
Megan Fox has long stated that in Hollywood she has an image of a sex symbol and a dummy, actively supported by producers and directors. A vivid conflict with filmmakers happened in 2009 when the actress was fired from “Transformers 3: The Dark Side of the Moon” for the phrase addressed to director Michael Bay: “he wants to be Hitler on the set.” After a while, she said that producer Steven Spielberg was the initiator of the dismissal, but he denied everything.
Fox also said she is ready to return to Jennifer’s Body (2009) if it gets any further development.
I don’t think the sequel will be difficult to do. You definitely need to make a TV series out of him. That would be great, she added.
Earlier, Fox said that during the release of the picture she was heavily criticized, and the film did not have a single chance to somehow make it to Hollywood precisely because of her conflict with the creators of “Transformers”. “Jennifer’s Body” grossed less than expected at the box office – only $ 31 million worldwide with a $ 16 million budget.
Fox got the role of a girl chosen by the lead singer of a popular group as a virgin victim for a spell that was supposed to bring glory and success to the group. But the plan was not destined to come true, since the heroine was not a virgin and after an unsuccessful sacrifice, she began to eat men.
