In his 2012 hit, My ex’s best friend, Machine Gun Kelly sang: «I read i messages that you sent to your exes, but I will never tell, yes»… Words that today sound prescient.
The journalists of Page Six reported last Friday that, according to their sources, Megan Fox he found «DMs and text messages» on Kelly’s phone, leading her to believe the musician and actress were “in a relationship.”
For the uninitiated, it’s been a tough week for Meghan Fox and Kelly, whose first name is Colson Baker. The two have been together since mid-2020 and got engaged in January 2022.
After attending a weekend party of Super Bowl organized by Drake in an aircraft hangar in Arizona, the star of transformers uploaded a gallery of images on her Instagram in which she wore a rather low-cut dress. Next to her was an unnamed man in training gear. Finally, there was a short video of the inside of a burning trash can holding an envelope. The caption read: «You can taste the dishonesty/ it’s all over your breath» (“You can taste the dishonesty/ It’s all over your breath”), a quote from the song Pray You Catch Me Of Beyoncétaken from his historic 2016 album Lemonade. The track is widely regarded as the artist’s definitive statement on infidelity.
As a final dig, Fox then began following Kelly’s longtime nemesis, Eminemon social media.
Unfortunately everything we have just told can no longer be seen anywhere, because Meghan Fox has removed herself from Instagram (a few hours after the fiery letter), as his 21 million followers already know. The 36-year-old actress was also reported to have taken off the engagement ring. An important detail given that, as Machine Gun Kelly said, the ring is designed with «bands (which) are actually thorns. So when she tries to take it off, she hurts.”
The sources ofPage Six they said Kelly “really wants to do peace». The same informant framed the situation by stating: «They broke up, but Megan is seeing where they are. It’s possible that Kelly is using her own lyrics to the song Maybe and that he assured Meghan Fox: ‘This time is the last, this time is the last'”.
Update: Meghan Fox turned her Instagram profile back on Sunday to deny the news of Page Sixstating that there was “no interference from third parties”, nor from “actual humans, nor DMs, nor AI bots or succubi demons”.
