Megan Thee Stallion is proof that dreams do come true. The rapper, who has been open about her love for Beyonce throughout her life, took the stage with the singer to perform their track “Savage (Remix)” during the Renaissance Tour in their hometown of Houston, and shared how it all came about: and all the tears she shed as a result – on TikTok on Tuesday.
In Megan’s famous voice-over style, she quickly talked about how surreal the weekend was for her and included video clips of her getting ready to take the stage, excitedly performing the track and the fun shenanigans that followed after celebrating the big goal. from her list.
“You have no idea how many times I cried this weekend. You don’t understand: Beyonce is my idol, like I really love Beyonce with all my heart. I wore this camo because I will go to war for Beyoncé,” she said on TikTok. “She was like, ‘Shake it, queen.’ Look how this thing moves. The point is, cousin. Me and my mom are big Beyoncé fans. All my life I’ve been saying, “I want to rap Beyoncé,” and to be able to get on stage with the woman I love, the woman who is the woman of all women… I’ve been with Beyoncé, yeah “It all pissed me off!” »
The love for the “Alien Superstar” singer continued in the TikTok caption, which also showed Megan’s happy tears were so intense they threatened to tear her wig off her head.
“Y’all I cried like hell picking up my shoelaces all weekend lol I will never stop screaming about this moment! I loved @beyonce MY ENTIRE LIFE, it means EVERYTHING to me!!! I love you… thank you, thank you, thank you for everything,” she wrote.
Bey’s Renaissance World Tour, which kicked off in Stockholm on May 10, is scheduled to conclude with the next two dates, starting with a stop Wednesday (Sept. 27) at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans and ending Oct. 1 in Kansas. Arrowhead City Stadium.
