October 11 #BlackGirlJoyChallenge A collaboration was launched between the Consortium of Southern Black Girls and Women, Pete and Thomas Foundation (non-profit organization Megan Thee Stallion) and NIKEcoinciding with International Day of the Girl Child.

Applicants who successfully submit their ideas during the application process have a chance to win a $550 competition prize.
The goal is to select 100 young women and girls from all Southern states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, East Texas, Tennessee, West Virginia and Virginia. #BlackGirlJoyChallenge
will last approximately two weeks from October 11 to October 25.To participate in the competition, eligible candidates must complete several steps. First, they need to register and attend the workshop. They then need to create an account on Founder, application management platform.
The competition invites applicants to demonstrate their philanthropic efforts by sharing knowledge about the needs of their communities, identifying regional issues and recognizing emerging leaders. The challenge focuses on projects that promote mental health, physical health and community joy.
This isn’t the first time Megan Thee Stallion advocated for mental health. The rapper was recently featured in a PSA commercial with Catch the awkwardness, a national campaign to raise awareness of mental health. Her involvement in various initiatives underscores her commitment to prioritizing mental health.
