Megan Thee Stallion teases new music on social media

Megan Thee Stallion has hinted at a new era of music on her social media.

On October 12, the Houston rapper posted a cryptic trio of images on Instagram with the words “Act One” and a red snake biting its tail. Two days later, she posted a photo of herself posing with a snake emoji as her caption. Yesterday (October 21), Megan wrote, “Tune in to Monday’s beauties,” suggesting new music is on the horizon.

Today (October 22), she posted an even more tantalizing hint of what’s to come. Megan’s latest Instagram post shows behind-the-scenes footage of the potential music video, with her hands hidden behind long red nails. Megan also included footage of the sultry wink and her caption, “Ah!” “This is personal,” she wrote in the caption.

The news follows Megan’s announcement that she has finally parted ways with her former label 1501 Certified Entertainment, with whom she was engaged in a lengthy legal battle that lasted four years. As a result, the rapper also announced that her new album will be entirely self-financed: “The budget comes from me, fucking Hot Girl Productions.”

The musician also released his contribution to the new A24 musical. Dicks: The Musical, a song called “Out Alpha The Alpha”. The film was released on October 6 in the United States.

Megan also launched a new website with mental health resources called Seize The Awkward. The rapper opened up about the trauma she felt after being shot and killed by rapper Tory Lanez. Lanez was found guilty in 2022 and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

She also spoke directly about the public humiliation she faced on her latest album, Traumazine. NME gave four stars: “Although Megan Thee Stallion is just now taking her throne as one of hip-hop’s elite, she will clearly leave a lasting impression on rap music forever.”
