Meghan Markle before becoming the brand-new Duchess of Sussex and becoming part of the British royal family she had a fleeting and stormy marriage.
The American actress was married to American producer Trevor Engelson, 44, whose union was made official in September 2011, but they separated 18 months later.

Although their brief love story has been kept in the most complete secret, as it is not known the true reason why they divorced, both have already turned the page and marked a total turnaround in their lives.
Although neither has touched on the issue, the relationship ended because the two had “irreconcilable differences” and both sought divorce in 2013.
Engelson married millionaire nutritionist Tracey Kurland in 2019 and in 2020 they became parents to a girl and is now focused on his new wife and being a good parent.

According to biographer Andrew Morton, Engelson remembers their marriage in a negative light. The director was allegedly enraged by a detail of Meghan after the couple’s breakup, details The Express.
Engelson “felt very alienated and upset” from his wife at the time, morton recounts in his book Meghan: A Hollywood Princess. The relationship ended so badly that the actress returned her husband’s engagement diamond ring by mail, the story adds, in a detail that drew Engelson’s ire.
Engelson and Markle they began dating in 2004 and, in 2011, married. Of what little is known, according to the Duchess of Sussex, the divorce was due to “irreconcilable differences” between the two.
But other rumors point to the marriage being affected by the permanent absence of Markle, who often traveled to Canada for tapings for the TV series Suits, of which she starred, the Express adds.

Meghan Markle and Prince Charles’ youngest son married just over three years ago, in May 2018. They are the parents of 2-year-old Archie and newborn Lilibet.
