Mexico has its last chance to reduce the speed of propagation of the COVID-19said this Saturday, Hugo López-Gatell, assistant secretary for Health.
“To the extent that we achieve the mass measures of immobilization, reduction of work activities and concentration of people, we will have a benefit for all. The benefit is to reduce the speed of propagation. Mexico has its last opportunity to do so,” he said.
The deputy secretary emphasized the call to the population to stay at home in case you do not be forced to move to centres of work.
“The call that we do today in society is a reflection where it is clear what is required to strengthen the enforcement of the actual measures (restriction of mobility). It is our obligation to comply with them fully and energetic, synchronous and consistentthat, ” he said.
The official stressed that Mexico is in a period of rapid expansion and exponential cases of the new coronavirus.
According to data of the ministry of Health, until this Saturday, there are 848 confirmed cases, 131 more than the Friday.
