Micah Parsons loses it after C.J. Stroud wildly compares Kobe Bryant to Michael Jordan

Michael Parsons and CJ Stroud Join the conversation and pick the five best in NBA history and pit them against each other. The Dallas Cowboys linebacker had the Houston Texans quarterback as his guest on his podcast, where he ditched football and talked about basketball. After naming his five best basketball players, Parsons asked Stroud to assemble his roster.

Stroud started with Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry and then added late Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant. The 2023 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year failed to say his player’s name because Parsons interrupted him. Dallas’ flashy defensive ace told Stroud that Michael Jordan was “going to put his hands on Steph.”

CJ Stroud countered that Curry will drop at least 25-30 points more than the Chicago Bulls legend. It was almost impossible for Micah Parsons to say anything unbelievable after hearing the quarterback’s comments. Parsons added that “his aura” is that of a top-five defensive player at the linebacker position.

The discussion between the two became more heated when Stroud added:

“He (Jordan) is probably no better defensively than Kobe (Bryant)! What are you talking about?

Parsons was so frustrated that he didn’t even know how to respond to Stroud’s comments:

“Uh-oh, me?! Man, are you delusional? I’m worried about you, honestly. I’m scared because people are going to criticize you for this, man. They’re going to be like, ‘What is CJ talking about?’ “They’re not going to believe you’re a real basketball player by saying something like that. “

The debate over who is the better defender, Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant, is nothing new. Fans have been debating for and against these two players for years. Jordan was selected to the NBA’s All-Defensive Team nine times and won the Defensive Player of the Year in the 1987-88 season.

Bryant, meanwhile, joins Jordan in being named to the All-Defensive First Team nine times and joins three other All-Defensive Second Team selections. The “Black Mamba” is the most decorated defender in league history.

Micah Parsons and CJ Stroud both believed they were right. This discussion may be repeated once they meet again.

Micah Parsons and CJ Stroud to face off in NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

ESPN First Take co-hosts Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A. Smith will serve as coaches for the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on February 16 in Indiana. 50 Cent and football legend Peyton Manning will assist Sharpe on the bench. Smith will be flanked by Lil Wayne and WNBA star A’ja Wilson.

Among the players who played for Sharp was Dallas Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons. Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud will be a part of the team under Smith.

Things could take things to a new level next weekend if the discussion between Parsons and Stroud about Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant gets heated. They will go head-to-head on the basketball court looking for change.

Amid Jordan and Bryant debate, CJ Stroud issues challenge to Micah Parsons:

“I don’t care.” I’m a bucket. Come and take me in. “

This will be an interesting subplot for fans to watch during the 2024 NBA All-Star Game.
