Allen Iverson gave Michael Jordan one of the most awkward double-crosses of the 1990s, causing the Chicago Bulls legend to stumble for several seconds. Even today, one can still see some cool edits of the Philadelphia 76ers icon on social media. While many will still scoff at MJ for falling victim to such a move, Iverson believes the six-time champion is playing great defense. However, fans knew how Jordan would take it. Iverson confirmed that the 60-year-old will never let it slip away.

What makes Iverson’s crossover with Jordan even more iconic is the former’s idolization of the latter. Well, to be precise, Iverson soiled his goat! However, his love and respect for the five-time MVP never ends. In a recent interview with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols, I shared: “You see how good he is, because I made him (double cross), so bad, he still almost blocked the shot…everyone else would be on the other side of the court. “He still had his hands up and almost blocked me. ”
A humble AI still believes this is a good defense against killer moves. But for Jordan, Iverson shot over him. No matter how good his recovery is. He confirmed that MJ brings up this crossover every time he talks.

Jordan is the kind of person who can never be forgotten. Only revenge on AI will solve the problem, but we’re past that. Jordan, however, used a different approach to keep Iverson humble. AI would be humble no matter what, but the 76ers legend’s overwhelming respect and love for MJ sometimes got him into trouble.
He added in the interview, “I kept talking about who he was to me and what he did for my life. I was overwhelmed every time I saw him. I kept talking and talking and he said, ‘Listen, man, You don’t care about me at all, because if you cared about me you wouldn’t piss me off like that.’ “
