Six pairs of his sneakers were recently sold for a whopping $8 million, making Michael Jordan Breaking the record again.

According to the New York Daily News, the former basketball star wore the Dynasty sneakers during championship games from 1991 to 1998.

“Today’s record-breaking price proves the GOAT. There is no denying that the Dynasty Collection ranks among the most important collections of sports memorabilia in history.” Brahm Wachter, head of modern collections, said in a statement, ESPN reported. “(This is) a truly unparalleled moment and milestone in auction history, and the sale of these six championship-winning sneakers may never be replicated.”

The “Dynasty Series” of Jordan shoes has since become the second most expensive piece of sports memorabilia associated with the 60-year-old.

His collectibles and Jordan Brand continue to make millions

Jordan’s highest payout in memorabilia was $10.1 million for the jersey he wore in Game 1 of the 1998 “Last Dance” finals.

Back in 2020, the release of his documentary series “The Last Dance” brought Jordan’s career and the Chicago Bulls dynasty to the forefront again.

The 10-part series provides an inside look at Jordan’s life, his pursuit of excellence and the challenges he faced on and off the court.

It also sheds light on the game’s significance in the sneakers he wore, now known as the Dynasty line.
