Michael Jordan’s NBA heyday is more than a quarter of a century old. But his name still holds immense value, as evidenced by the fact that one of his cars sold for more than $108,000 at a recent auction.
His Airness 1991 dark blue BMW 850i 6-Speed sold for $108,723 on Monday. Jordan purchased the car in 1995.
The auction was hosted by “Bring a Trailer” and did not take place without Jordan in attendance.
The sale does come with documents bearing Jordan’s signature, a clean car report, and an Illinois title in Jordan’s name.
This car is over 30 years old and still appears to be in original condition with only 30,000 miles on the clock.
