Michael Jordan’s endorsement fails to sway NBA fans’ support for Anthony Edwards’ bold poll results

Michael Jordan has finally issued a statement on the ongoing controversy surrounding the similarities between him and Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards. Surprisingly, this time, fans saw it differently. The Chicago Bulls legend shocked the world with his rare complimentary comments. While the 14-time NBA All-Star seemed to agree with the other veterans, he couldn’t convince fans of it.

Ever since Edwards made his game debut, his skills have been compared to those of Michael Jordan. The conversation stirred up again when Chris Broussard shared MJ’s thoughts with fans and listeners on the latest episode of First Things First.

Surprisingly, it was Broussard, not Stephen A. Smith, who shared Michael Jordan’s views on the matter. “Well, I contacted the GOAT today, Michael Jordan. Jordan said there were similarities in their games; and I agreed. So (if) Jordan said there were similarities, then there were similarities,”

Broussard said on the show.

Many celebrities, including Kevin Garnett, share Mike’s sentiments. Garnett was one of the first few to voice his opinion. In speaking with Nichols, Edwards agreed to have similar skill sets to rookie Jordan. Indeed, you can’t help but think twice when considering ability and fierce competitive spirit.
