Michael Jordan’s family invested $178 million in Michigan, realized return on investment 9 years later, and wrote heartfelt thanks: “Salute to the winner”

The University of Michigan football program has had a partnership with Air Jordan since 2016. The partnership was showcased on the big screen at NRG Stadium in Houston.

Jordan’s official Instagram page features the Jumpman logo on the screen as a special message to the winner. “From unfinished business to undefeated business. Congratulations to the University of Michigan on their undefeated season and national championship. Salute to the victors of the Jordan family.“

The Wolverines won 34-13 to claim their first championship since 1997. Michael Jordan hasn’t won a championship since 1998. The celebration is marked by Jordan Branding behind the blue and yellow Wolverines gear.
