Belinda Iturbide Díaz, director of the Michoacán State Health Department (SSM), explained that from November 6 to 17, a health fair will be held simultaneously, where institutional They work in-house and provide guidance, advocacy, vaccinations, mammograms, and testing for sexually transmitted infections, chronic degenerative diseases, and cervical cytology.

Likewise, mental health care strategies will be strengthened so that 6,220 tests will be conducted on older adults to detect depression and memory impairment. Positive cases will be referred to specialists.

In addition, 2,407 rapid tests for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis will be conducted among vulnerable and open populations, and 30,000 condoms will be distributed to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.
