Have you ever heard of a micro French manicure? Forget the massive ’90s and 2000s jacket because the new nail trend is more minimal than ever. And it creates a nude and almost completely natural effect without giving up on a chic aura. The micro French manicure consists of a very thin white line at the tip of the nail and stays true to the French technique but takes a less rough and more sophisticated approach.

The latest celebrity in the sport is Dua Lipa, vacationing in Albania, who further adorned her hands with the addition of a gold watch, bracelet and rings. But the singer is not the first time succumbs to the charm of this nail art. At the Barbie premiere in Los Angeles, Dua Lipa showed off a version of the micro-French manicure with pink nails and white tips, saying she’s the queen of this new trend.

Micro French Manicure is a beauty trend of the moment, including on TikTok, with many variations and facets of nail art appearing. There are those who prefer to keep their nails short and rounded, creating a very thin line at the ends and covering everything with a glossy top. But there are those who prefer long and conical nails, almond-shaped, with an almost imperceptible white line running along the tip. This is the case of Tom Bachik, Jennifer Lopez’s mannerist, who created the pop star’s manicure last May. Sophisticated and minimalistic, the Micro French manicure offers more ideas and color variations, in addition to the iconic milky white color. Gold, silver and glitter lines are very popular on shiny nails, as well as all colors with a metallic finish, from green to blue.
