Miley Cyrus received court-ordered protection from her alleged stalker.
The news about the 30-year-old singer was revealed by TMZ on Thursday, and it was reported that in her statement she claimed that Alexander Kardalyan, 52, arrived at her home just days after he was released. from prison.
The performer, who recently revealed that she made no profit from her 2014 tour, also alleged that Kardalian also sent unsolicited emails in which he detailed his obsession with her dating back to 2018.
In the statement, Cyrus alleged that the man repeatedly asked for money. He reportedly made sexual comments towards her.
The singer also wrote that Kardalian’s “obsessive behavior” became even more troubling last summer, when he allegedly showed up uninvited to her Los Angeles residence twice.
It is reported that the said person was taken out of her territory both times.
The performer claimed that Kardalian was arrested last December and was incarcerated at San Quentin State Prison until last August, when he was released.
Cyrus wrote that the man allegedly returned to his property just days after he was released from custody.
She also claimed that Kardalyan sent her a letter in which he wrote that he would visit her home immediately after his release from prison.
Although the man reportedly visited her home, his security team prevented him from seeing the singer, notifying the police of his presence.
The performer claimed that her alleged stalker was threatened with arrest if he returned to her home in the future, although he ultimately did so.
Cyrus also wrote that Kardalian used her home address for health insurance purposes.
She claimed the man wrote her a letter saying he “didn’t care if he was alive” if she didn’t respond to his attempt at communication.
The performer said her alleged stalker was dealing with “serious mental health issues” in her statement, in which she also alleged that he also harbored what she described as a “dangerous fixation and/or obsession” with her life.
The singer also stated that because of the man’s behavior, she is concerned for her safety, as well as the well-being of her mother Tish and boyfriend Max Morando.
The judge signed off on the request and ruled that Kardalian is no longer allowed to contact her in any way and that he must stay away from her musical or public performances.
Cyrus’ alleged stalker will also be required to remain at least 100 yards away from the singer at all times, as well as from her home, car and any venues where she performs.
