Millie Bobby Brown is ready to say goodbye to the character of Eleven in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things

. In the immediate future plans for the 19-year-old actress, however, there is not only acting.

Millie Bobby Brown will soon be releasing her first book as a writer. Her novel will be called Nineteen Steps and will be released in the United States on September 12 by the publisher William Morrowowned by HarperCollins. At the moment we still don’t know anything about the Italian version, but we hope that the book will be printed by us too.

What will your debut novel be about? We must expect something rather far from the sci-fi and 80s atmospheres of Stranger Things. Millie Bobby Brown will offer us a further step back in time.

Nineteen Steps is described as “an epic story of love, loss and secrets”. On InstagramMillie Bobby Brown teased that “is a historical novel about an extraordinary and courageous 18-year-old named Nellie Morriswho lives with his family in Bethnal Green in London’s East End as the Second World War rages on around them. When a tragic accident occurs one night during an air raid, the consequences are catastrophic and life will never be the same for Nellie”.

Millie Bobby Brown further stated that she is: “inspired by my grandmother Ruth, this book is very personal and I care deeply about it. I grew up listening to stories about wartime. I am honored to keep his story alive”.
