Money is gas! | Firenze Rocks, a party of 41,000 for the Who and Maroon 5.

From the immortal rock of The Who accompanied by the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino orchestra on a special occasion to the hybrid sound of Maroon 5 with elements of rock and R&B.

And then Tom Morello’s solo, Jake Shears’ voice colors and new phenomena of world music, such as D4vd and The Reytons.

Eleven bands from around the world performed for two consecutive days at the 2023 Firenze Rocks concerts, which concluded last Sunday at the Visarno Arena in Florence to the music of a band led by Adam Levine in front of 26,000 people. In short, two dates with a total of 41,000 viewers.

Also this year, the festival is recognized by the public as one of the most anticipated events, followed on the national and European stage due to the quality of the invited artists. This edition will also be remembered for enabling two international bands to return to Italy for a single European tour date.

For both the Who and Maroon 5, the return to our country was met with great enthusiasm, and the peak of attendance was also marked by numerous tourists arriving in the capital of Florence.

Also on stage were Italians such as Lucio Corsi, who, with his distinctive glam rock style, showed the versatility of an artist making a name for himself on the Italian scene with his lively talent, along with Piqued Jacks, an alternative rock band that performed at Eurovision 2023, confirming the international appeal of our rock.

Firenze Rocks over the years has become more and more of a springboard for emerging artists who have the opportunity to play in front of a large audience of enthusiasts.

In fact, the two-day concerts were opened by Le Distances and I Soci, two bands that competed in Sanremo Rock & Trend. At this Festival, as well as in the next editions, the artists who will open the days of the Festival will be selected.

The machine, created by Live Nation Italia in collaboration with the local promoter Le Nozze di Figaro and with the support of the municipality of Florence, is huge: from production and organizational staff to technical and security staff, from helping volunteer associations, to all partners (five of which are committed to the theme sustainable development) and sponsors, this year there are about a thousand people who have worked hard for the success of the Festival.
