The actress appreciates the family routine: “When I’m not working, I like to lead a normal life: I go shopping, I take my daughters to school.”

Monica Bellucci is happy next to Tim Burton: love, born on the red carpet of the Lumiere festival in Lyon, fills the life of an actress.

“I found a wonderful spirit in Tim. I met an amazing soul and love him,” Bellucci told Harper’s Bazaar Spain, echoing a comment Elle posted in June ahead of filming for director Burton’s Beetlejuice 2.

“What can I say… is that I am glad that I met this man, first of all. This is one of those meetings that rarely happen in life. I know this man, love him, and now I’m meeting with the director. I love Tim.”

Bellucci’s relationship with fame

In an interview published in a Spanish edition, Bellucci clearly argues his attitude towards fame. “Is my figure objectified? It didn’t bother me. I also made the most of my body in certain roles, like Malena or Irreversible. (…) When I felt a critical attitude towards me, I learned it. Sometimes beauty creates masks, ”he explained then, commenting on the haters who throughout his career have repeatedly emphasized his sex appeal to the detriment of talent.

“The fact that I have such a background (fashion, ed.) that I worked with many photographers before I started making films fueled that thought a bit.”

Although the popularity of the actress puts her in the spotlight of the whole world, in her personal life, Monica tries to stand firmly on her feet. “Fame can also cause mixed feelings. When I am not working, I prefer to lead a normal life: I go shopping, I take my daughters to school.” Bellucci was married to Vincent Cassel for 14 years: together they had daughters Deva, 18, and Leonie, 13.
