Over the weekend, the System of Emergency and Disaster Medical Assistance (SAMEC) provided on-site care to 186 people for a variety of reasons, including road accidents, injuries and assaults, domestic violence, stab wounds and people with different medical conditions.
In addition, assistance is provided with coverage of various venues and events where crowds gather.

The Women’s and Children’s Hospital reported the following news from 8pm on Friday, November 24th to 8am on Monday, November 27th:
The adult ward admitted 249 patients, 41 of whom were hospitalized. There were 73 obstetric visits, 114 gynecological visits, and 41 medical outpatient visits.
A total of 891 patients were admitted to the pediatric ward, 34 of whom were hospitalized. Among the emergency causes, there were 185 cases of respiratory diseases, 98 cases of various traumas, 69 cases of gastroenteritis, 3 cases of traffic accidents, and 4 cases of dog bites.
There were 32 live births: 17 males and 15 females.

At San Bernardo Hospital, a total of 818 people were on call from 8am on Friday the 24th to 8am on Monday the 27th.
Of those treated, 159 were hospitalized.
A total of 106 people were injured, 50 of whom were injured in traffic accidents:

In addition, 58 patients were referred from other medical centers during the on-call assistance.
Lord of Miracles
On Saturday and Sunday, the Señor del Milagro hospital’s emergency room treated 355 patients over the age of 15. Medical needs are primarily for cases of gastroenteritis and bronchitis.
Arturo Onativia
Dr. Arturo Onativia Hospital received 33 emergency calls on Saturday and Sunday, with the main reasons being: abdominal pain, discomfort and fatigue, precordial pain and urinary tract infections.
Miguel Lagun
Between 8 pm on Friday, 24 November, and 8 pm on Monday, 27 November, on-call service staff at the Dr. Miguel Lagon Mental Health Hospital treated 34 people in need of urgent psychiatric and psychological assistance.
