Almost 30 years after the release of Bill & Ted – A Fantastic Adventure, the franchise is still attracting fans with its warm and ridiculous sense of humor.
The Comic-Con @ Home panel for the upcoming Bill & Ted: Face the Music has attracted a lot of fan attention and appears to be the most successful panel of the event so far.
The panel, which featured Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine, William Sadler, director Dean Parisot, writers Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson and filmmaker Kevin Smith, did not release much new content, but it still won over hearts.
“We have waited a long time for Bill & Ted: Face the Music. 2020 is the perfect year for the release of this film because it is exactly the kind of joy needed at this moment ”, commented an internet user on Twitter.
Another fan wrote: “I really enjoyed Bill & Ted’s panel: Face the Music. I can’t wait for the debut. ”
“Bill & Ted’s: Face the Music panel was very warm and adorable. It was just a small dose of what the film itself will deliver ”, praised another person.
Bill & Ted – A Fantastic Adventure revisits the heroes Theodore “Ted” Logan (Keanu Reeves) and William “Bill” S. Preston, Esq. (Alex Winter) as two outdated men who never reached their destination: writing a song so epic that unites the world to save the universe.
The film revolves around them, having one last chance to fulfill that destiny, but with a window of 78 hours to reach it.
The film will also feature William Sadler as the Grim Reaper. The film also features Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving as the daughters of Bill and Ted, Wilhelmina “Billie” Logan and Theodora “Thea” Preston, respectively.
Bill & Ted: Face the Music is scheduled to be released on September 1, 2020.
