    Plot of the movie Rock of Ages: In 1987, young Sherrie Christian moved to Los Angeles in hopes of becoming a successful singer. Shortly after arriving in town, however, Sherrie is robbed of all of her possessions and the only one of her to show solidarity with her is Drew Boley. Her boyfriend, an aspiring rock star, convinces her to take a job at the famous Bourbon Room, run by Dennis Dupree and Lonny Barnett. Although the venue is known for having graced some of the continent’s most famous artists, business has taken a nosedive and the two managers hope that famed Arsenal frontman Stacee Jaxx’s performance will boost the club’s economy.
    As Stacee arrives in Los Angeles with manager Paul Gill, Drew and Sherrie begin to develop a mutual feeling.
