    Plot of the Film The Competition: The film is based on events that occurred during the 1970 Miss World pageant, held in London and hosted by actor Bob Hope. The competition at the time was very popular all over the world, in fact the program had millions of viewers.
    A group of women members of the Women’s Liberation Movement, led by activist Sally Alexander, interrupted the beauty contest, taking the stage, to protest with placards and stir up public opinion. This gesture allowed the liberation movement, which had recently been founded, to gain fame beyond the borders, thanks to the live broadcasting worldwide. The contest, much discussed and attacked, resumed in a normal way, after the removal of the activists, but ended with a historic turning point, the victory of Miss Grenada, Jennifer Hosten, the first black winner of Miss World.
    A double victory on the London stage, which allowed women to express their opinion, demonstrating that they don’t necessarily have to submit to the patriarchy, and to finally see an ideal of beauty that has been discriminated against for too long crowned…

    Plot of the film Still Alice: The film stars Alice Howland, a 50-year-old wife, mother and renowned professor of linguistics at Columbia University, whose work is respected at every university in the United States.     That’s rather unusual for a professor of his calibre. After spending time with her daughter Lydia, who aspires to be an actress despite her mother’s reluctance, Alice returns to New York. Everything changes when one evening the woman receives an unexpected call: she is told to go to the airport the next day to collect a certain inheritance from an English cousin who died recently and of which she is the only relative of hers.
    Arrived on the spot, convinced that she has to collect the money, Elizabeth, a girl of just over a year, is handed over to JC. Initially the woman panics: she doesn’t have time to take care of a child and furthermore she has no experience as a parent.     Plot of the film Nine bullets – Escape to freedom: It is the story of Sam, a boy who had the misfortune of witnessing the murder of his parents. To commit this crime was the terrible underworld boss Jack. Sam’s fault was to have stolen the iPad with the killer’s bank details inside.
    The boy’s life is now in danger but Gypsy, a former burlesque dancer who lives in the apartment next to his, decides to save him. Gypsy’s fault, on the other hand, was that she had an affair with Jack.
