Over the past few years, we’ve seen many films become remakes of television series or receive sequels or prequels that deepen the story while exploring other worlds. After Clueless fairies, Continental and many others, the remake of the series will soon appear on Prime Video. Amazon Studios announced that the series Mr. and Mrs. Smith will debut on the Prime Video platform in early 2024 in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide where the streaming service is available. The original 2005 film, directed by Doug Liman, became famous not only for its plot, in which a pair of lovers come to terms with their jobs as assassins, but also for the meeting of Brad’s two actors on the set – Pitt and Angelina. In this new serial version, the roles of the main characters are not played by Jolie and Pitt, but in the roles of John and Jane we meet Donald Glover AND Maya Erskine. Each episode will reveal their relationship and the missions they are assigned by the mysterious agency. We see that John is dressed in white and has blood stains on his clothes and face, while Jane has no traces of blood and is wearing a tank top with the strap almost pulled down and pants of the same color. To find out which episode it belongs to and what happened, we’ll have to wait for the series to be released on Prime Video in 2024 with viewing included in an Amazon Prime subscription (the same one that includes fast delivery of Prime products).
