MTV Vmas 2023, Moneskin Wins Again, Taylor Swift Sets Record

MTV Vmas 2023 they took place tonight live from Newark, New Jersey, and it was an event the likes of which we haven’t seen in a long time. Opened in 1984, I Video Music Awards American music television has seen its ups and downs over the years, but the ceremony aired in its final few hours was enlivened by a parade of stars and some completely unexpected moments. Dominant, among other things, were also Moneskinwho again won in the Best Rock category and performed his latest single, Darling (Are you coming?). Other performers of the evening also included Nicki Minaj (who also presented the event), revelation Olivia Rodrigo, Demi Lovato, fall out Boy and many others. The evening concluded with a supergroup consisting of DMC, Doug E. Fresh, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Lil Wayne, LL Cool J and Nicki Minaj performing to celebrate 50 years since the birth of hip-hop.

Diddy (formerly known as P. Diddy and before that as Puff Daddy) performed a medley of his hits before accepting the Global Icon Award, and the Colombian artist Shakira received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. But the main thing in the evening was, without a doubt, Taylor Swift

which was well won nine awards: Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects for his Anti-Hero video and again Album of the Year for Midnightand finally “Artist of the Year” and “Show of the Summer” for his Eras Tour. She is the first artist to win the prestigious Video of the Year award two years in a row.
