Antrodoco – Following the great success of the Performing Arts Festival, which “invaded” Antrodoco from 13 to 16 July with the excellence of dance and contemporary circus, passing through theater and interdisciplinary performance, ARIA returns from August 17 to 20 with a music festival.

The festival has two main goals: to give the “music” of Antrodoco and to “give” Antrodoco to musicians and music lovers. Music of all kinds, presented in high technical quality in a calm atmosphere, in the cool climate of the squares and ancient streets of a mountain village. In many ways, an interactive event: in addition to listening to concerts, it will be possible to participate in rehearsals, meetings with artists, and master classes. Real collaborations with musicians on the account. It ranges from classical music from northern India to sacred and secular music for organ and brass, to big bands, experimentation, electronics, jazz, percussion, sounds of Scottish folk traditions and the Dolomites, alternating between modernity and history. It consists of Marcello Zanin (baritone), Christiano Perenzin (baritone/tenor), Christian Fakkin (viola), Luciano Gasperin (bass). With them is the singer-songwriter Stefano Zannantonio Martin, Dr. Ceni, with his philosophical analysis of modern life. Cristina De Bortoli will present the meeting. Breaking down the boundaries between genres through transversal musical development: from baroque to electronica, through rock to pop music. When classical, pop and electronic music meet frequently, the mix is ​​explosive and blinding. Music with original arrangements created by HER and conceived based on the question: how to create a sound environment that is closely related to the meaning of an intimate story? Can music guide the viewer and, through live action, create images in the minds of the viewers themselves?

Through the exploration of contemporary sounds, everything becomes a personal narrative in music in a dense network of visual representations, especially powerful “images”, symbolic and archetypal forms. The goal is to start with personal stories, but turn them into a shared universal in order to develop different points of view. A cross-sectional approach at the core of writing where categories will interact on multiple simultaneous levels. “Gender games” and the world around us in a constant change of points of view.

With the project “ARIA – International Residence for Artists Antrodoco” – the municipality of Antrodoco won one million 600 thousand euros in the PNRR tender of the Ministry of Culture with the main goal of making Antrodoco a residence for artists of different types of art. (theater, dance, music, modern circus, visual arts) of international scale.
